Mr. Bloombastic

This little gem was discovered via Chiara’s blog, where she’s glad you did, but wishes you hadn’t.

Bloombastic™ – The Bling Bling for your Plants

Bloombastic is a revolutionary nutritional supplement based on optimal levels of bio mineral nutrients in combination with our next generation bio stimulant activators. This product is scientifically formulated to provide a comprehensive array of micro nutrients to ensure that your plants get a well balanced diet and show signs of vitality and vigor.

Atami has identified an ideal PK ratio of 0-20-21 European NPK (for USA is the NPK 0-14-15) for explosive fruit setting and powerful flowering. When you combine this ideal PK ratio with our optimal level of mineral and micro nutrients, it will absolutely upgrade the quality of harvest and increase your yield no matter what base nutrient you are using.

Ok, so it’s just another Miracle-Gro, but what’s with the packaging? What exactly is the company’s angle? And who is their target audience? Last I checked, 31-year-old Europeans who still go to raves don’t do a whole lot of gardening…

  1. Hello,

I’m sorry this doesn’t have anything to do with your above post, but I saw your reply to the thread on artisans in Northern NY on Craftster. I live in Philadelphia, NY (for just under a year now…) and had no idea that the Better Farm existed! I’m so excited that there’s a place to learn about permaculture! I was excited to find the Art Center in Clayton but it’s a relief to know that there’s also another place to study art. I’m primarily a fabric artist but I’ve not gone to college for it. It’s just something I do for fun and, occasionally, for profit. Again, I’m really excited to know that such a place exists in Northern NY! I’m thinking about taking a class in August. Thank you so much for posting those links to your Craftster profile!
