I highly recommend taking this course with Claudia. As I’ve said a million and one times before, Permaculture truly is a way of life, and you’ll be amazed at how it relates to yours!

  1. Recently I wrote a blog entry offering a leftist critique of the ideology of “Green” environmentalism, permaculturalism, deep ecology, eco-feminism, and lifestyle politics in general (veganism, “dumpster diving,” “buying organic,” “locavorism,” etc.). I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter and any responses you might have to its criticisms.

  2. Yes, anyone who wants to read this generous “offer” of one (I assume) philosophy major’s extremely generalized critique of the (quote, unquote) Green movement, feel free. Spoiler alert: You are automatically a smug asshole if you choose to live a personally and spiritually sustainable life – even if you tell no one about it! That’s about how far I got before my eyes glazed over and I had to go change into my trendy Karl Marx tee shirt that I bought from Urban Outfitters.

But seriously, live your life how you want to, treat those around you with respect, and do what you can to not make a mess of this planet. Such a simple philosophy – and it only took a single sentence to get across!
