Camofleur

While visiting Boldt Castle recently, I was fully engrossed in taking photos of the landscaping when this magical leprechaun (ala creepy tinker from Willy Wonka) of a groundskeeper popped out of nowhere, asking if “she” was posing for me. I thought he weirdly meant the flower, but upon closer inspection saw the “she” that he meant – Mama duck protecting her eggs!

Reminds me of how Kay’s (of Kay Loves Vintage) cat, Elvis, likes to “camofleur” himself in the flower pots also…

All things bright and beautiful love to garden!
